ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

efergy is committed to helping you to save energy so you can save money, but also so you can reduce your impact on the environment. Our product range will help to conserve energy and reduce CO2 greenhouse gas emissions. We take our responsibility to saving energy and the environment very seriously too. Here is how we try to minimise our environmental impact in everything we do.

Our Manufacturing Processes

We ensure that our manufacturing and supply processes have the minimal environmental effects. Our manufacturing processes are accredited to QC080000, certifying that our entire management and production processes meet with the International Green Manufacturing Standard.

Our Packaging

Most of our packaging is fully biodegradable and recyclable.We are currently working to improve it with the latest ideas in environmentally consious packaging and we try to minimise packaging wherever we can. All of our product support information is available on our website and we minimise mail to customers by communicating with them electronically, wherever possible. We currently include multi-lingual product guides in our packaging, but we are shortly introducing country specific guides to reduce paper waste.

Our Offices

We also aim to use low energy appliances and lights in our offices, use public transport or electric scooters where possible and minimise energy and product waste in all of areas of our business.We have appointed 'Environmental Officers' in each of our offices to ensure we are improving our standards

Community Contribution

We encourage local businesses and schools to save energy where possible. We recently donated efergy electricity monitors to a local school near our UK head office in West Yorkshire to support a photographic competition about the environment.
